Our attorneys counsel various parties in the planning, hosting and management of international sporting events and the accompanying exploitation of all rights to those events, including media rights, sponsorships and merchandising. Our services include advising our sports clients with compliance issues, including NCAA compliance; protecting their intellectual property rights and drafting and negotiating content license agreements; drafting and negotiating contracts with major television networks for the production and broadcast of sporting events; drafting and negotiating performance agreements and game contracts; and creating and negotiating sponsorship and endorsement opportunities. The firm has also represented owners of professional sports franchises, advising them on the acquisition, operation and disposition of those franchises.
