Pamela B. Watkins
Pam Watkins serves in the firm’s corporate practice group with a focus on real property and business transactions.
Pam was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1990. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1987 and from the University of Georgia School of Law (cum laude, 1990). While in law school, Pam served as an Articles Editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Research and Writing. Pam originally joined the firm in 1990 immediately after graduation from law school and recently returned to the firm in 2019.
Pam and her husband Scott live in Atlanta and have three children. She has been active in the community and her children’s school, serving in the past as co-president of the Alumni Association of The Westminster Schools and co-chair of the annual fund, and in various Parent Association roles there, and as a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout leader, and FLL Robotics Coach.

- Representation in all types and stages of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, financing and development of real estate, as well as conservation easements; Negotiation, drafting, preparation and review of purchase and sale agreements, construction agreements, and related agreements; lease negotiation, drafting, and review.
- Representation in the purchase and sale of businesses, including transaction structuring, negotiation, drafting and review of contracts and related documentation; Review and drafting of shareholder, membership, non-disclosure and non-compete employment, stock option, buy-sell and other contracts and agreements.
- Representation regarding business organization and planning, entity selection and formation and related document drafting, preparation, and review.
- Representation regarding corporate governance matters; Drafting and review of general contracts and related documentation.
- Representation of lending institutions in loan-related transactions, including real estate secured, unsecured, and asset backed loans, including government guaranteed loans, involving the acquisition and development of real property and businesses.
