Valerie A. Parente is a partner in the firm’s real estate group and specializes in SBA loan transactions. Valerie joined the firm after spending 9 years as District Counsel at the U.S. Small Business Administration. During the last 4 years of her tenure at SBA, Valerie also served as Senior Counsel for 504 Loan Closings and Reviews. She has extensive knowledge concerning SBA policy and loan programs. Prior to joining SBA, Valerie was an associate at a firm specializing in real estate litigation.
Valerie graduated from the University of Georgia in 2007 with a degree in Spanish and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2010. Valerie is a member of the Georgia Bar and is admitted in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.
Valerie lives in Brookhaven with her husband Jonathan, son Julian, and daughter Noa. In her spare time, you can find her teaching American Mahjong via the small business she cofounded.
